1. Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients, businesses, and advertising agencies to sell advertising space or time.
  2. Understand Client Needs: Work closely with clients to understand their advertising goals, target audience, and overall marketing objectives.
  3. Media Planning: Develop and propose effective media plans that align with clients’ objectives in the digital ad space.
  4. Sales Presentations: Create compelling and persuasive presentations to showcase the value of advertising in specific media channels. Clearly articulate the benefits and reach of the advertising opportunities.
  5. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure advertising contracts. Strive to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that meet both the client’s objectives and the media outlet’s goals.
  6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful execution of advertising campaigns.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use this knowledge to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
  8. Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets by consistently acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones. Implement strategies to maximize revenue from assigned accounts.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of advertising campaigns.
  10. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities in the market.


  • Diploma or Degree in Business (preferred) but others are welcomed as well
  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, especially in media or advertising, is highly valued. This can include internships, part-time jobs, or full-time positions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for making sales pitches and negotiating deals.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills to close deals and secure favourable terms.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to create with the help of the internal team and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Motivated, driven, outgoing and have a pleasant personality.
