Job Description

The Data Science & Analytics Executive will help us make smarter decisions and deliver even better products. Our team drives initiatives to improve performance across a variety of media platforms while delivering consumer analytics efforts to better understand how users engage with our digital products. You will increase efficiency and yield, drive the shift in how digital media is sold today, and provide consumer and engagement insights. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, performing statistical analysis, NLP, deep learning, visualizing, and building high-quality modeling systems integrated with our products.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
  • Build and deploy Machine and Deep Learning models
  • Design accurate and scalable prediction analysis algorithms
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
  • Generate actionable insights for business improvements
  • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Create and maintain automated reporting templates, prepare ad-hoc analysis, and present results in a clear manner to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Transform large, complex datasets into pragmatic, actionable insights. 
  • Leverage data to identify, quantify, and influence tangible business gain
  • Ability to see beyond the numbers, be the voice of data when communicating to decision makers, product owners, and team leaders
  • Challenge ideas and methods while working together with talented, highly skilled team members, external developers, and suppliers

 

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques and with statistical rigor
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods
  • Degree in Social science research, Behavioral science, Information science, Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related Quantitative discipline
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis, machine learning and programming
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, R, Tableau and Data Studio
  • Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine learning and deep learning algorithms
  • Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to prepare statistical, graphical, and narrative reports
  • Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
