About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor (Intern) to join the REV Sponsored team at REV Media Group, supporting the creation of
short-form and social media content across our brands.

This role focuses on video editing, content support, and creative execution, working closely with Creative Producers and the
production team to deliver engaging digital content for various campaigns and platforms.

Requirements

  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Familiar with social media trends and short-form content styles.
  • Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effect, CapCut, or similar editing software.
  • Basic understanding of storytelling and content pacing.
  • Able to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a bonus.
  • Current college or university student (Internship letter from university required).

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation.
  • Experience creating TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts content.
  • Familiarity with trending editing styles and social media formats.
  • Basic photography or videography skills.
  • Awareness of digital content and social media workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Edit short-form social media videos for digital platforms.
  • Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
  • Assist during shoots and support content production when needed.
  • Organise video files, footage, and production assets properly.
  • Support brainstorming sessions and creative ideation for campaigns.
  • Adapt editing styles according to platform trends and campaign needs.
  • Work closely with producers and creatives to ensure timely delivery of content.
