We are looking for an Account Manager to join OMNIA’s Digital Sales team, with a focus on Malay and local SME businesses. This role is ideal for someone with experience in digital media sales, a good understanding of digital advertising, and strong client management skills.
You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, preparing tailored proposals, and driving revenue through Media Prima’s digital media solutions. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of campaigns.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven experience in sales, particularly within the media or advertising industry, including internships, part-time, or full-time positions.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for outstation assignments to meet with regional clients and attend industry events.
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience handling SME clients or local business accounts.
- Confidence in presenting proposals and pitching digital solutions.
- Good negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client business needs.
- Ability to work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Media Prima’s digital media solutions specifically to Malay and local SME businesses.
- Identify and prospect potential clients who can benefit from our digital media solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while acting as a trusted advisor.
- Understand client business challenges and goals, and provide solutions that drive results.
- Create compelling and customized proposals that showcase the benefits of our digital media solutions.
- Present proposals to clients, address questions or concerns, and secure sales opportunities.
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and negotiate terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and successful implementation of solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue from assigned accounts.
- Provide regular sales reports and market updates to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and potential growth opportunities.
